Dr. Donn Kryder

Dr. Donn E Kryder is a native of South Bend, Indiana.  He attended Purdue University for his undergraduate and doctorate.  He has been involved with veterinary medicine since 1974.  Dr. Kryder's inspiration for becoming a veterinarian came from his desire to work with people and animals.  He loves all aspects of veterinary medicine with special interests in soft tissue surgery and exotic medicine/surgery.

Dr. Michael D. Lacopo is a native of Mishawaka.  He attended Purdue University for his undergraduate and doctorate, graduating in 1991.  He was inspired to become a veterinarian as a result of his interest in sciences and the amazing healing power of the body.  Dr. Lacopo also wanted to be a part of the special bond that exists between people and animals.  He enjoys general practice, including medicine and surgery of cats and dogs.  He is always up for challenging cases, especially involving orthopedics, cardiology, nutrition, and dermatology. 
Dr. Lacopo has been actively involved in genealogical research since 1980.  He is published in the subject and travels around the United States giving lectures on the topic.

Dr. Stephanie Harr

Dr. Stephanie R. Harr is a native of Jamestown, North Dakota.  She graduated from the College of St. Benedict in St. Joseph, Minnesota with a Bachelor Degree in Biology.  In 1999 she received her doctorate from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in Ames, Iowa.  Her inspiration for becoming a veterinarian was her general compassion for all living creatures and a drive to help them when they are in need.  

Dr. Harr enjoys working with the KVC clientele and their "kids".  She finds the clients to be knowledgeable and willing to do everything possible for their pets.  She states that her experience at Kryder Veterinary Clinic has been "an excellent learning and growing experience where I have met many wonderful people and animals."

 

Dr. Tracy L. Eichenseer is a native of Waukasha, Wisconsin.  She attended the University of Wisconsin for her undergraduate in bacteriology and then continued at the University of Wisconsin for Veterinary school and graduated in 2000.   Her childhood veterinarian, Dr. Arthur Daun, who was a classmate of Dr. Kryder’s at Purdue, inspired Dr.Eichenseer.  Dr. Eichenseer had a desire to work with humans and animals to support the pet-owner bond.  Dr. Eichenseer takes a special interest in preventative medicine.  She enjoys catching disease early when there are more available treatment options.  She also has an interest in senior health, extending quality and quantity of life.

Dr. Eichenseer chose KVC because of the "quality of medicine, investment in diagnostic tools allowing rapid diagnosis, and the excellent support staff.”  “There is never a dull moment!”

Dr. Kari Hatch

Dr. Kari D. Hatch is a native of Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.  She attended Iowa State University for her undergraduate and veterinary work.  She graduated with her doctorate in 1996.  Straight from veterinary school Dr. Hatch went to the Army.  At Cherry Point, North Carolina Dr. Hatch took care of military pets and military working dogs (guard dogs, drug dogs and bomb dogs).  After two years Dr. Hatch was transferred to Germany where she was for three years.  While in Germany Dr. Hatch had to perform the same duties as she did stateside in addition to field tasks.  Dr. Hatch left the Army and returned to the states to be more involved with her patients, in the Army she was only able to see appointments three times a week.  Her inspiration for becoming a veterinarian came from her family fostering pets for Citizen's for Animal Protection in Houston, Texas.

Dr. Hatch stated she "wanted to be at a clinic that practiced quality medicine with genuine concern for both patients and clients.”  At KVC everyone works with those goals in mind, which, was just what she was looking for.

 

Dr. Mariah Covey is a native of South Bend, Indiana.  She attended Purdue University for undergraduate school from 1998- 2002 where she majored in biochemistry and minored in history.  She attended Purdue Veterinary School and graduated in 2006.  Dr. Covey has been interested in veterinary medicine since birth.  She says she was born to be a veterinarian.  She never thought she would do anything else.  Dr. Covey's interests are behavior, exotics and internal medicine.  When not studying or working, Dr. Covey enjoys scrap booking, crossword puzzles, crypto quotes, traveling and dressing her dogs in funny hats.  Dr. Covey chose KVC because she wanted to move back home.  She is also very excited to see exotics and get excellent experience with doctors who are excited to share their knowledge.

"I have really enjoyed it.  I have already learned a lot, have seen a number of exotics; and the people have really been friendly and welcoming."
