Client Relations Staff

Jessica Murphy

Jessica Murphy, practice manager, began coming to KVC at the age of 6.  On Saturdays, Jessica would "job shadow" her dad.  When Jessica wasn't observing Dr. Kryder in exam rooms, she was earning her allowance by cleaning out cages or counting out medications with Ray.  She was "officially" on the payroll at 15.  After graduating from IUSB, with a degree in psychology, she was still drawn back to the clinic to establish a career in the family business.

"The clinic has always put food on my table since I was 3 and it always will.  The family business is in my blood.  My plan is to help guide the business into the future."

Randy Griffin, front office manager, has been here since June of 1993.  "I have been working for veterinarians for the past 30 years, and I truly believe KVC is the best.  We have wonderful doctors, top of the line equipment, a beautiful facility, and our entire staff is willing to go the extra mile to do anything they can to help both our patients and their owners."

Randy shares living space with seven cats, two dogs, and a parrot.  "It's an occupational hazard!"  When she's not working she can usually be found playing in her Koi pond or pruning back the "overgrown jungle of my over planted yard."

Jeanie Nelson

Jeanie Nelson, office manager, joined the KVC staff nine years ago.  Transplanted from Minnesota, where she was a school nurse, Jeanie enjoys the community, the people and the weather (A lot warmer here than in Minnesota).  She cannot say enough positive things about the KVC staff, clients and patients.  While working at KVC Jeanie has expanded her education, her friendships and her love for animals.

"I consider KVC a part of my family."

Betty Kryder
The Kryder family began Kryder Veterinary Clinic in Granger in 1980.  Granger was an economically depressed area.  Betty has seen it grow from a small village to being the 15th most desired area in the country, according to Money Magazine.  She is dedicated in supporting KVC while we continue to serve and delight in being the best we can be in the care of all animals and their caregivers.

"It has truly been an awesome journey."

Phyllis Richard

Phyllis Richard has worked at KVC since 1994.  She looks forward to coming to work in the morning to see the "gang" (resident cats) waiting, behind the counter, for their treats.  Her one big challenge is finding room on her desk as a result of Jerry, our oversized red tabby, napping all day.

"KVC has become a second family to me.  We have a great staff that supports one another.  Our clients and patients bring a lot of joy into my workday.  Working here has been a real learning experience.  I look forward to the years to come."

Lindsay Miller has worked at KVC since the summer of 2001.  Jessica and Lindsay have been friends since grade school.  Having heard a lot about KVC Lindsay was intrigued.  After patiently waiting, a position opened up, Lindsay was invited to work at the front office. She also constructs the KVChronicles newsletter and, along with Dr. Eichenseer, the KVC website.

"KVC has been a home away from home.  It's the wonderful feeling of waking up in the morning and loving your job and being able to spend time with friends."

Jenny Nelson

Jenny Nelson has a long relationship with KVC.  She worked at KVC from 1994 to 1998, but had to leave to go to college.  Jenny always wanted to come back.  So finally an opportunity came up and she took it.  Jenny has always enjoyed the work atmosphere as well as the friendships.  She has a love of animals and people who keep her coming back day after day.
"It's nice to be back were I belong."

Ashley Murdock began at Kryder's November 2004.  She is currently attending Indiana University of South Bend.  She is majoring in Secondary Social Studies Education.  At home, Ashley enjoys her cat Zander and practicing her violin.  We are very proud of her.  She has been the perfect addition to the "girls" up front.
"I love working at Kryder's, I love the animals."

Diann Linback

Diann Linback, receptionist, started at KVC just as it was moving into the current building in 1986.  Diann was a receptionist as the time and after a couple of years full-time, Diann went part-time in between the births of her two kids.  The door was always open for Diann to come back.  Diann had always wanted to work at a veterinary clinic and her dedication to KVC promoted her to technician assistant 9 years ago.  Just recently, Diann made her way back up to the front desk.  We are glad to have her back up front.  When she is not here she is at home with her husband, her two kids and their yellow lab, Aspen.

"I have always enjoyed working with the staff, clients and their animals.  This is where I like to be."

Cindy Decker began at KVC in the summer of 2005.  She came to us with a management background, which includes managing three pet stores.  Cindy was also a dog groomer for two years.  Cindy's daughter, Jennifer Worvey, is a technician here at KVC and heard about the opening through her.  Her love is her rabbits.  Cindy breeds and shows American Fuzzy Lop Rabbits.  She shows her rabbits nationally.  She currently as 65 rabbits but her facility can house up to 100 depending on the litters.  She is the District Director of the American Fuzzy Lop Club and the Secretary of the River Valley Rabbit Club.  Cindy is also a member of the Indiana Rabbit Breeders Association and the Michigan Rabbit Breeders Association.  In her spare time, Cindy enjoys camping and hiking with her husband.

"I enjoy working with the clients and their pets.  I always have a good feeling when I go home at night."

Chelsea Tanger began at KVC in January of 2007.  She attended Elkhart Baptist Christian School and then went on to Bethel College.  Chelsea heard about the open position from a technician at KVC.  We are delighted to have her with us.  She loves animals and people so it's a "perfect combination!"  In her spare time Chelsea is a soccer coach in the fall for kindergarten boys with her fiancé, Kyle.  She loves to read, bowl and spend time with friends and family.
